FieldDeck is committed to protecting the privacy of farmers and agricultural businesses. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user. We will never sell your farm data to third parties.
FieldDeck is farm management software developed and operated by FieldDeck Inc., a company incorporated in Canada. You can reach us at support@fielddeck.ag.
FieldDeck provides a web portal and mobile application that helps farm operators manage field operations, workforce, financials, crop plans, and grain marketing.
When you register for FieldDeck, we collect your name, email address, phone number, business name, and a password.
As you use FieldDeck, you may provide farm-specific information, including:
We collect information about how you interact with our platform, including log data, IP addresses, browser type, device identifiers, and pages visited.
With your permission, the mobile app may upload photos taken on-site. These files are stored securely in encrypted cloud storage.
The mobile application may request access to your device's location to assist with field mapping. You can deny this permission at any time through your device settings.
If you contact us for support or provide feedback, we retain those communications to resolve your inquiry and improve our service.
We do not use your farm data to train machine learning models for external sale or build advertising profiles.
We do not sell your personal information or farm data to any third party. We may share data only with trusted service providers who help us operate the platform:
These providers are contractually bound to use your data only for the purpose of providing services to FieldDeck. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
Your data is stored on servers located in Canada (AWS ca-central-1 region). We apply industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256 / AWS KMS), private network isolation, and access controls for all administrative access.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory reasons. Financial records may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with applicable Canadian tax laws.

The FieldDeck web portal uses cookies for authentication (session tokens) and security (CSRF protection). We do not use third-party advertising cookies or behavioral tracking networks. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect your ability to log in.
FieldDeck is designed for agricultural business use and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice in the application at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of FieldDeck after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
