Please read these Terms carefully before using FieldDeck. By creating an account or accessing the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.
FieldDeck is a farm management platform operated by FieldDeck Inc. ("FieldDeck", "we", "us", or "our"), a company incorporated in Canada. The platform includes a web portal, mobile application, and associated APIs and services (collectively, the "Service").
To use FieldDeck, you must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate registration information, and use the Service for lawful agricultural business purposes only.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@fielddeck.ag if you suspect unauthorized access.
You may invite team members to your account. You are responsible for their use of the Service and ensuring they comply with these Terms.
FieldDeck is offered on a subscription basis. Pricing, plan features, and billing cycles are described at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to current subscribers.
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Payments are processed by Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for unused time unless required by applicable law.
Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes (e.g., GST/HST). You are responsible for paying any taxes applicable to your purchase.
You agree to use FieldDeck only for lawful purposes. You must not:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.
You retain full ownership of all farm data, records, files, and content you upload to FieldDeck. We do not claim any ownership rights over your data.
By using the Service, you grant FieldDeck a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference.
FieldDeck includes "Sally," an AI-powered farm assistant. Please be aware:
FieldDeck is not liable for decisions made based on Sally's recommendations.
FieldDeck displays third-party data including weather forecasts, grain market prices, and satellite imagery. This data is provided for informational purposes only. We do not warrant its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.
Grain bid and commodity price data are delayed and should not be used as the sole basis for grain marketing or trading decisions. Always verify prices directly with your elevator or broker.
FieldDeck and all its components — including the software, user interface, branding, logos, and documentation — are the intellectual property of FieldDeck Inc. and are protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use FieldDeck's name, logo, or trademarks without prior written permission.
We aim to provide a reliable, high-availability service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance in advance.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. FIELDDECK DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR CONTINUOUSLY AVAILABLE.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FieldDeck Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of farm data, loss of revenue, or decisions made based on data displayed in the platform.
In no event shall our total aggregate liability to you exceed the greater of (a) the total fees you paid to FieldDeck in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) CAD $100.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FieldDeck Inc. and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or any content you upload to the platform.
Either party may terminate at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or fail to pay fees when due. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends immediately. We will retain your data for 90 days post-termination for export requests, after which it will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada. Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved by good-faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta, Canada.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will provide at least 14 days' notice via email or a prominent notice in the platform. Your continued use of FieldDeck after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
